With plans quickly taking shape for WrestleMania season, there is speculation that John Cena's plans for the event are close to being finalized.

With a plethora of top stars set to return for the showpiece event next year, some of WWE's current crop may well be searching around for bookings. And, per WrestlingInc.com (via F4W Online), Cena could well be set to go at it with Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 30:

Regarding the news that Bray Wyatt vs. John Cena may take place at WrestleMania XXX, that was the plan as of this past Tuesday. The match wouldn't necessarily main event the pay-per-view.

This is potentially huge news for the WWE, and for John Cena. The past two WrestleMania shows have seen him go at it with The Rock—one of the biggest Superstars of the past 20 years. Cena facing Wyatt at the biggest show of the year is a huge shift in the booking of John Cena, but is a firm indicator in the belief WWE have in Bray Wyatt.

Wyatt has impressed greatly since his return to WWE TV—when his Husky Harris gimmick was a huge failure—and has already gone at it with some of the company's top stars in 2013. But, whilst his feuds with the likes of Kane, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan are a safe indicator that Wyatt is destined for big things, booking him with Cena at WrestleMania 30 is a massive moment for Wyatt.

In truth, it could well be a smart move from the WWE and their creative team. With The Shield surely set to split in the buildup to WrestleMania, there is a gap opening for a new stable to take control of the WWE in the way The Shield have. The Wyatt Family are the natural successors for that role, and elevating Wyatt into a feud with John Cena at the biggest show in 2014 would launch them hugely moving forward post-WrestleMania.

It also adds another quality match to what is certain to be an impressive card. Moving Cena away from the main event adds more interest to the middle of the card and enables someone of Daniel Bryan's stature to move up the card—which would surely appeal to the majority of WWE fans.
