The Philadelphia 76ers (9-21) withstood a late rally from the shorthanded Los Angeles Lakers (13-18) to come up with a road victory. The final score was 111-104.
Philadelphia got balanced scoring from Thaddeus Young, Evan Turner and Spencer Hawes, who scored 25, 22 and 19 respectively. Michael Carter-Williams pitched in 13 points, five rebounds, five assists and four steals.
The Lakers suffered their fifth straight loss and got even more bad news from the training staff in the process. Xavier Henry strained his knee and will have an MRI tomorrow.
The Lakers were led by Nick Young, who scored 26 points off the bench.
