North Carolina - 39
Cincinnati - 17
Unlike many Belk Bowls in the past, this matchup wasn't even close. North Carolina jumped out to an early 16-point lead thanks to remarkable special teams and defense. The Tar Heels never looked back, as they won their second bowl game in four years.
It was a total team effort thanks to two special teams touchdowns, three offensive touchdowns and five sacks from the defense.
And while it was a disappointing way to end the season for Cincinnati, this year should still be considered a success under head coach Tommy Tuberville. Cincinnati reached a bowl game for the third straight season and has a lot of young talent to build around.
