The Utah Jazz (9-23) beat the Los Angeles Lakers (13-17) on a huge putback slam by Derrick Favors with 2.1 seconds left on Friday night.
Utah was led by its two veterans all night long. Gordon Hayward scored 24 points and dished out nine assists and Derrick Favors went for 18 points and 14 rebounds.
Marvin Williams, Trey Burke and Alec Burks all reached double-figures as well.
For the Lakers, Nick Young led the way with 21 points, but fouled out halfway through the fourth quarter. Chris Kaman had his best game of the season starting in place of Pau Gasol and scoring 19 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.
