Madden 2010 That Much Better, Online Franchise Announced

ChiCitySports .ComCorrespondent IJune 1, 2009

Late last week when EA announced Online Co-op for Madden NFL 10, we speculated that the second big online related announcement was going to be Online Franchise, a mode that has been requested for by Madden fans for quite sometime.

That was confirmed today during EA’s E3 press conference.

Online Franchises in Madden NFL 10 will allow you to compete with up to a full 32 user-controlled teams with real NFL scheduling.

Features will include live drafts, player transactions, league message boards, full stats and standings, depth charts, and more.

These features will all be available from your console, on the web on the Madden website, or from a custom iPhone app.

You can also view five new screenshots from Online Franchise on the Madden website.

We’ll have more for you as soon as we get more details, but this appears to be exactly what fans have been waiting for.

Make sure to let us know what you think in the comments.
