Re-gifting is often frowned upon. In this instance, it is acceptable.

The NBA gave players Samsung Galaxy Note tablets for Christmas. Instead of keeping his, the Los Angeles Clippers' Stephen Jackson decided to give his to an employee at Golden State's Oracle Arena, via Jackson's Instagram account and Maria King on Instagram:

The 13-year veteran decided to get in the holiday spirit and do something nice for someone else. Jackson certainly didn't have to give his tablet away, but it will be a memory that one worker will never forget.

Jackson played for the Golden State Warriors from 2007 to 2009.

Hat tip to UPROXX's Ashley Burns for the find.
