Two of the NBA's best teams squared off on Christmas Day in San Antonio when the Houston Rockets and San Antonio Spurs took the floor. Houston was looking for consistency, having failed to win consecutive games in its last seven contests, while San Antonio had won seven of its last nine.
Led by James Harden's 28 points, the Rockets topped the Spurs 111-98. Houston shot 52 percent and held San Antonio to just 41 percent shooting. Manu Ginobili paced the Spurs with 22 points off the bench.
