Closer Addison Reed and third baseman Matt Davidson were recently traded for each other, via MLB.com's Steve Gilbert.

When Davidson took part in an interview with MLB Network's Intentional Talk, the story took a bizarre turn when Reed was seen working out in the background. Apparently the two players work out together, which turned the trade into an awesome story.

Hosts Chris Rose and Kevin Millar couldn't believe the coincidence. They had a good time with it and got Reed to join the interview.

Davidson and Reed provided an epic interview with some hilarious answers and even officially traded "jerseys" because no press conferences had taken place.

Reed went from the Chicago White Sox to the Arizona Diamondbacks, and Davidson went to the Windy City.

Thanks to MLB.com for the video, and hat tip to USA Today For The Win's Ted Berg for the find.
