The rivalry between Big Show and John Cena started at, I believe, WrestleMania 25.  It was a triple threat match between John Cena, Edge and Big Show for the WWE World Heavyweight championship. Cena won by picking Big Show up and pinning him. This cost Big Show the title and put him in a rage.

If you watch the previous matches that have been after ‘Mania 25, you will see that Big Show has been in a rage, destroying everything in his way. After losing the title to Cena, Big Show wanted to end Cena’s career.

At Backlash, Edge faced Cena in Last Man Standing match. Big Show interfered and threw Cena into a 7,000 watt searchlight.

The two faced again at Judgment Day and again defeated the Big Show.

Now, the two will face each other again at Extreme Rules, except this time in a Submission match. Some are asking, is it possible to make the worlds’ largest athlete tap out?

This is a well set match. Neither man has ever tapped out. In this match, something will have to give.

Cena definitely has the will and determination. However, Big Show is 7', 400 pounds.

If you ask me, one of the best strategies would be for Cena to avoid Big Show’s hits.  Defense is definitely a key point in this match up.
