If it weren't for Eric Decker's heads-up move, there might be a bidding war for Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning's record 51st touchdown pass.

Manning broke Tom Brady's previously held NFL record for touchdown passes in a season on a beautiful 25-yard strike to tight end Julius Thomas, but Thomas was unaware that the pass broke the record. When he got up, he dropped the ball and went to celebrate. Fortunately, wide receiver Eric Decker picked up the ball and stuffed it in his jersey.

Manning says he didn't see Decker scoop up the ball but added, per Anwar Richardson of Yahoo! Sports, “Julius, it wouldn’t have surprised me if he had handed it to some babe up in the stands and tried to get her phone number in exchange for the ball. That’d be right up Julius’ alley."
