Tony Romo: Recapping Romo's Week 16 Fantasy Performance

RotoWireContributor December 22, 2013

Romo may be one of the most polarizing quarterbacks in the NFL, but there's no denying he's had a superb 2013 fantasy campaign. Romo completed 17-of-27 passes for 217 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in Sundays 24-23 win over the Washington Redskins. The second touchdown came on a fourth-and-goal play from the 12-yard line, when he scrambled and found running back DeMarco Murray for the game-winning score.
Romo has thrown at least two touchdown passes in four of the last five games, as well as six of the last eight contests. With 31 touchdown passes, only Peyton Manning and Drew Brees have scored more through the air than Romo. He was clutch Sunday, he has not been clutch in other situations, but Romo's fantasy numbers speak for themselves this season.
