There were some unusual heroes this week. There always are. Let’s take a look at them and see if they are worthy of your fantasy rosters. Keep in mind that this time of year, it’s pretty much injuries that dictate roster moves.

Edwin Baker, RB, Cleveland Browns

Edwin Baker ran for 64 yards and a touchdown against a tough New York Jets run defense. He also caught two passes for 12 yards. He's a decent add for next week against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Ruling: Get 'em.

Mark Ingram, RB, New Orleans Saints

Mark Ingram ran for 83 yards against the Carolina Panthers. He also caught a pass for seven yards. I wouldn't trust the New Orleans Saints to start feeding him the ball regularly.

Ruling: Don't Sweat 'em.

Mike Brown, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars

Mike Brown caught five of six targets for 71 yards and a touchdown against the Tennessee Titans. He's not a viable option for the final week of the season against the Indianapolis Colts.

Ruling: Don't Sweat 'em.

Jerrel Jernigan, WR, New York Giants

Jerrel Jernigan caught six of 12 targets for 80 yards and a touchdown against the Detroit Lions. He had seven catches for 67 yards the week before. I'd look elsewhere next week against the Washington Redskins unless you're looking for a deep sleeper play.

Ruling: Don't Sweat 'em.

David Nelson, WR, New York Jets

David Nelson caught four of five targets for 33 yards and two touchdowns against the Cleveland Browns. He's not a recommended add based on his 2013 production.

Ruling: Don't Sweat 'em.

Griff Whalen, WR, Indianapolis Colts

Griff Whalen caught seven of eight targets for 80 yards against the Kansas City Chiefs. Last week he had 45 yards and a score against the Houston Texans. I wouldn't trust him for a third straight solid game.

Ruling: Don't Sweat 'em.

Marcedes Lewis, TE, Jacksonville Jaguars

Marcedes Lewis caught four of six targets for 50 yards and a touchdown against the Titans. Lewis has scored in four straight games. If you're looking for tight end help in Week 17, he's worth a look.

Ruling: Get 'em.
