Caleb Sturgis: Recapping Sturgis's Week 16 Fantasy Performance

Bleacher Report AdministratorSenior Analyst IIDecember 23, 2013

The Dolphins didn't score a single point Sunday against the Bills, so obviously Sturgis had a pitiful fantasy day. It was through no fault of his own, though, as the Dolphins gained a putrid 102 yards from scrimmage. Sturgis did not even get to attempt a kick in the 19-0 loss.
Just when it looked like the Miami passing game was clicking, quarterback Ryan Tannehill was completely shut down by the Bills in a pitiful offensive display. The Dolphins saw their three-game winning streak snapped, and Sturgis provided fantasy owners with a brutal goose egg during a crucial time. The Miami offense is too inconsistent to recommend using Sturgis in the final game of the season against the Jets.
