Packers' Matt Flynn Narrowly Avoids Nasty Hit Against Steelers

It doesn't get any closer than this for a quarterback.

Had the timing been off at all or the defender gone slightly lower, this play could have resulted in a serious injury.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Matt Flynn should feel fortunate that he avoided the Pittsburgh Steelers' Lawrence Timmons in what could have been a devastating hit. Close call.

Timmons should also be thankful that he avoided hitting Flynn. Had he hit Flynn, Timmons would've been flagged and likely fined.
