Final: Bengals 42, Vikings 14
The Cincinnati Bengals defeated the Minnesota Vikings Sunday in Paul Brown Stadium in one of Week 16's most lopsided affairs.
Cincinnati running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis got the scoring started early after a Minnesota fumble put the Bengals in the red zone to start the game. Minnesota was able to quickly respond as quarterback Matt Cassel found Jarius Wright to knot things up at seven.
The Bengals responded late in the first as Andy Dalton found A.J. Green for a 29-yard score. Things started getting out of hand from there. Cassel then threw an interception that was returned for a touchdown by Vincent Rey to make it 21-7. Dalton later found tight end Jermaine Gresham late in the second to put the game out of reach.
After two more Cincinnati touchdowns, the Vikings finally got back on the board thanks to a 35-yard rush from Cordarrelle Patterson, but it was simply too late to make a difference.
