The St. Louis Rams (7-8) secured a 23-13 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-11) in what was an exciting home finale for St. Louis fans.
An early touchdown by Stedman Bailey, who scored on a 27-yard double reverse, and a rushing touchdown by Zac Stacy, gave the Rams an early lead.
Three Greg Zuerlein field goals, including a 54-yard bomb, added to the lead and allowed St. Louis to escape the game with a 10-point victory.
The story of the game, however, is undoubtedly Robert Quinn. Quinn racked up three sacks—his third three-sack game of the season—to set the new St. Louis franchise sack record with 18.
Quinn now leads the NFL in sacks and is a shoe in for Defensive Player of the Year.
The Rams will attempt to secure an 8-8 record when they travel to Seattle a week from now. Tampa Bay will attempt to end the season on a high note as the Buccaneers take on Saints for their season finale.
