Barcelona beat Getafe 5-2 in an enthralling 90 minute display.

Woeful defending from the Calatan outfit allowed the hosts to pull two ahead in the first 15 minutes, but Barca struck back through a sensational Pedro hat-trick.

Cesc Fabregas crushed any hopes of a comeback late in the second half with a quick brace—both assisted by Pedro.

Manuel Pinto: Helpless for the two goals due to poor defending, but solid overall.

Dani Alves: Was targeted early and often, suspect in defence. Improved in the second half.

Gerard Pique: Far from the commanding presence you'd expect.

Javier Mascherano: One cog in a poor back line.

Jordi Alba: A good cross for Pedro's third goal, but very suspect in the defensive third.

Sergi Roberto: Had a nightmare in the first half, but improved in the second.

Sergio Busquets: Was off his game in the first half, but came a real offensive weapon in the second.

Andres Iniesta: Struggled with a poor pitch, unable to influence the game as he would like.

Pedro: Scored a hat-trick in some style, then assisted both of Cesc Fabregas' goals. Incredible showing.

Cesc Fabregas: A sweet pass to setup Pedro's opener then scored a late brace. The best of the three midfielders by far.

Alexis Sanchez: Largely ineffectual, but full of energy.
