The Milan Derby headlined a full slate of Serie A action over the weekend of Dec. 21-22.
Two matches were scheduled for Saturday, with eight more to follow on Sunday, including the Milan Derby.

Rodrigo Palacio's late goal settled a tense Milan Derby, with Inter Milan winning 1-0.
Palacia struck in the 86th minute, turning in Fredy Guarin's cross with a superb backheel. AC Milan finished the match with 10 men after Sulley Muntari was sent off for pushing Jonathan. Muntari had become upset after Jonathan fouled Kaka in the closing moments.
The win put Inter in fifth place with 31 points. AC Milan, who have won only four matches in the league this season, are 13th with 19 points.

Juventus maintained their five-point lead atop the table with a 4-1 win at Atalanta on Sunday.
Carlos Tevez gave the Bianconeri an early lead before Maximiliano Moralez leveled for Atalanta. In the second half, Paul Pogba, Fernando Llorente and Arturo Vidal scored goals to secure victory.
The win gave Juventus 46 points heading into the winter break. Second-placed AS Roma are five poitns back.
Juventus have won nine straight league matches. Atalanta are 15th with 18 points.

Roma kept pace with leaders Juventus by winning 4-0 at home to Catania on Sunday.
Mehdi Benatia scored twice, and Mattia Destro and Gervinho tallied once each, for Roma, who remained in second place, five points behind Juventus.
Benatia put the hosts ahead in the 18th minute, reacting first to finish Destro's flick from a corner. The score remained 1-0 until the second half, when Destro doubled the lead with a close-range finish from Maicon's cross.
Four minutes later, Benatia made it 3-0 with a header from Adem Ljajic's free kick. Gervinho capped the win with another goal in the 80th minute.

Nicolas Lopez and Thomas Heurtaux scored either side of half-time as Udinese won 2-1 at relegation-strugglers Livorno on Saturday.
The win sent Udinese up to 10th place, with 20 points, ahead of Sunday's matches. Livorno are 18th with 13 points.
Lopez put Udinese ahead in the 11th minute after taking advantage of a poor clearance. Livorno leveled through Luca Siligardi in the 32nd minute and controlled the rest of the half—but couldn't take the lead.
Udinese then restored their advantage with Heurtaux's close-range finish in the 65th minute.

Bologna 1-0 Genoa
Bologna ended a long winless run with a 1-0 victory at home to Genoa on Sunday.
Alessandro Diamanti scored in the 57th minute for the hosts, who won a league match for the firs time since Oct. 30. The win took Bologna out of the relegation zone and into 17th place.
Genoa rarely threatened, finishing with only one shot on target.
Hellas Verona 4-1 Lazio
Luca Toni scored twice as Verona thrashed Lazio 4-1 to claim their eighth victory in nine league matches.
Toni put the hosts ahead in the fifth minute, only for Lucas Biglia to draw Lazio level midway through the first half. Juan Manuel Iturbe restored Verona's lead just before half-time; Romulo (63') and Toni (78') sealed the points with second-half goals.
Sampdoria 1-1 Parma
Citadin Eder scored in the first half as Sampdoria extended their unbeaten run to five matches with a 1-1 draw at home to Parma.
Alessandro Lucarelli equalized for Parma in the second half.
Sassuolo 0-1 Fiorentina
Giuseppe Rossi scored the only goal, in the 82nd minute, as Fiorentina won 1-0 at relegation strugglers Sassuolo.
Fiorentina are fourth with 33 points.
Torino 4-1 Chievo Verona
Ciro Immobile scored twice to lead Torino to a 4-1 comeback victory at home to Chievo.
Chievo had led through Cyril Thereau's ninth-minute goal, but Immobile turned the scoreline around with goals in the 45th and 65th minutes.
Giuseppe Vives scored Torino's third goal 10 minutes from time, and Alessio Cerci added the fourth in stoppage time.
Gonzalo Higuain's 10th league goal of the season was not enough for Napoli, who were held to a 1-1 draw at Cagliari on Saturday. The result meant Napoli failed to draw level with second-placed AS Roma, at least until Sunday.
Nene scored in the ninth minute to put Cagliari ahead, but Higuain leveled from the penalty spot 10 minutes later.
Napoli are third with 36 points. Cagliari are 11th with 20 points.
