Two of the best teams in the NBA squared off on Saturday night, when the Oklahoma City Thunder met the San Antonio Spurs. The two sides rank as some of the most explosive attacks in the league, and both looked to gain an edge in the hunt for the Western Conference's top seed.
The visiting Thunder used a huge 40-point second quarter to take down the Spurs, 113-100. Russell Westbrook led the way with 31 points and eight assists, which was crucial with Kevin Durant having an off-night by his standards. KD finished with 17 points on 6-of-14 shooting.
San Antonio was led by Tony Parker, who returned from a leg injury to put up 23 points and eight assists. The Spurs fall to 21-6 on the year while OKC improves to 22-4.
