Duke 80, UCLA 63

The trio of Jabari Parker, Quinn Cook and Rodney Hood combined to hand No. 8 Duke a victory at Madison Square Garden over UCLA on Thursday night.

The Bruins, who were in search of a marquee win in Steve Alford's first season as head coach, gave the Blue Devils problems in the first half with an effective zone defense.

In the second half, the Blue Devils exploded for 43 points as they cruised to their 10th victory of the season.

Parker scored over 20 points in his ninth game of the season as he ended with 23.

Hood and Cook both scored 14, and even Rasheed Sulaimon delivered eight points of his own for Duke.

In defeat, Kyle Anderson earned a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds.
