Kobe Bryant Injury Update: Lakers Star Out 6 Weeks with Fracture in Knee

Kobe Bryant's comeback from a ruptured Achilles tendon lasted all of six games.
The Los Angeles Lakers announced on Twitter that Bryant will miss six weeks with a knee injury:
Injury Update: Kobe Bryant has a fracture of the lateral tibial plateau in his left knee. He is expected to miss 6 weeks.

Bryant injured the knee in a Dec. 17 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies, and it didn't appear that the injury was any more than a tweak. Bryant left the court in obvious pain late in the third quarter but did return to action in the fourth quarter and finished the game.
