The 2014 Under Armour All-America Game will take place on Jan. 2. Many of the top recruits in the nation will be looking to showcase their skills during this all-star game in St. Petersburg, Fla.
Evaluating the players who participate will be exciting, but another key storyline will be the announcements. This game has an impressive list of recruits who will commit to a school before the night is over.
Here is how things could look at the end of the 2014 Under Armour All-America Game.
A 5-star defensive lineman, Gerald Willis has dropped some weight this fall. He is listed at 275 pounds by 247Sports, but he's 245 pounds now, according to a report by Bob Redman of FightinGators.com (subscription required).
At 6'3", the New Orleans native has the quickness and speed to play on the edges in college. He's down to Florida and LSU and will announce at the Under Armour All-America Game, according to Redman.
At 6'1" and 185 pounds, 4-star receiver Travis Rudolph is one of the top players in Florida. He has good quickness off the line, plus his speed allows him to stretch the field.
Rudolph has the ability to make subtle adjustments to get himself in a good position to make a catch. He will be making a decision at the Under Armour All-America Game, according to Bob Redman of FightinGators.com (subscription required).
Florida, Auburn, Florida State and Alabama are his main suitors.
Prediction: Florida State
Jalen Tabor is a 6'1", 182-pound cornerback who is from Washington, D.C. With his great size and length, Tabor has the ability to be effective in both man and zone coverage, plus he could develop into a better safety.
Tabor has many offers, but Maryland and Alabama have the best chance to land him, according to John Garcia Jr. of 'BamaMag.com (subscription required). The 5-star cornerback's decision will be known by the end of the Under Armour All-America Game.
With his excellent athleticism and all-around skill set, 5-star safety Jamal Adams is one of the best overall players in the nation. The 6'0", 199-pounder is a Texas native who has the potential to become an All-American in college.
Adams has schools such as Texas, Ole Miss, LSU and Florida among his finalists, says Erin Hartigan of Scout.com (subscription required). The Gators and Tigers will be the final two standing before he makes a decision at the Under Armour All-America Game.
Describing 5-star athlete Speedy Noil as a player is easy. He's fast, quick, explosive, athletic, agile and instinctive. The New Orleans native is a 5'10.5", 176-pound quarterback who will likely play receiver in college.
Texas A&M is trying to keep LSU from signing Noil, according to 247Sports. He would be a great fit in the Aggies' spread offense, but the Tigers will keep him home. Noil is scheduled to announce at the Under Armour All-America Game, per Chad Simmons of Scout.com (subscription required).
At 6'0" and 188 pounds, Tony Brown is a 5-star cornerback who may be able to help a college defense right away. Not only is he explosive out of transition, but Brown also has great instincts and the ability to support the run from the seams or perimeter.
The Texas native has played things fairly close to the vest, but he is scheduled to announce his decision at the Under Armour All-America Game, says David Berry of the Beaumont Enterprise. LSU is his leader, according to 247Sports, but Texas, Ohio State and Alabama are also in the mix.
Leonard Fournette is a 6'1", 226-pound running back who is ready to carry the load for a college offense right now. He has great quickness through alleys, plus he has the speed to make a big play or two each game.
Fournette has outstanding strength, evidenced by his ability to drag defenders for extra yards after contact. The New Orleans native also has good receiving skills in the passing game.
LSU, Alabama, Florida State, USC and Miami are in the mix, according to Chad Simmons of Scout.com (subscription required). Fournette is expected to make his announcement at the Under Armour All-America Game.
