For months, Hulk Hogan has made it abundantly clear through social media that he wishes to be part of WrestleMania XXX. According to a report from Wrestling Observer (h/t Wrestlezone), the Hulkster may be getting his wish.

Although Hogan has yet to sign a contract, Wrestling Observer sources feel confident that he will be involved in the show in some capacity, even though it will probably not be a ring return. There had been rumors he may team with John Cena in a tag match, but Hogan would not likely pass a physical and be cleared to perform, even if it were just a single leg drop.

Despite all of Hogan's antics in and out of the wrestling industry, he remains one of the biggest names in the history of the sport. He was the main event at the first WrestleMania and truly defined what it meant to have a "WrestleMania Moment."

Hogan's run with TNA Wrestling the last few years drew little more than groans from wrestling fans, as he didn't capture the same magic that was once synonymous with a Hogan appearance. He's showing his age more than ever, having significantly slowed in all of his movement and he doesn't quite fit the authority figure role anymore.

His uninspired TNA run, along with years of negative press related to his family—which included an ugly divorce and his son's run-ins with the law—have left many sour on the Hulkster. His mainstream fame has turned to infamy, and he has been viewed as a punchline by popular media instead of a living 1980s superhero.

But none of that will matter in New Orleans at WrestleMania. With thousands of fans packed into the stadium, there would be a deafening Hogan chant to see him in a WWE ring again.

Here's my suggested storyline:

Prior to WrestleMania, the Real Americans capture the tag team titles. Hogan makes an appearance on Raw to promote the Road to WrestleMania and highlight the importance of the 30th show. At this point, Zeb Colter and the Real Americans come out with their belts and mock Hogan as a relic who doesn't deserve to call himself a real American any longer.

They then jump Hogan, leading to the powerhouse tandem of Mark Henry and Big E Langston hitting the ring to clean house and help Hogan. It's then announced that these two teams will square off for the tag titles and Hogan will be in their corner.

This adds interest to an otherwise unappealing tag team title match. With the rumored Rhodes brothers battle, as reported by F4WOnline.com (via WrestlingInc.com) and the Shield collapse appearing imminent, the tag titles could lose some luster. Adding Hogan to the mix will freshen the match up and give the fans a great moment when Hogan can lay out Zeb, clearing way for a big babyface title victory.

Do you want to see Hogan at WrestleMania XXX? If so, how would you like to see him involved?
