Sneakerheads and Air Jordan aficionados are anticipating one of the hottest releases of the year, the "Air Jordan 11 Retro Gamma Blue" sneakers, which will make a holiday splash this weekend.

According to Nike.com, you can get your very own pair of the black and icy blue Jordans this weekend, just in time to gift them to that fortunate shoe enthusiast in your life. Step into a participating retailer on Dec. 21 and you can cop your very own pair.

As for price, you are going to part with a couple of bills. Sneaker News' Brendan Dunne puts the price at $185 for a shoe that is remarkably a little old but also a whole bunch of new.

Sneaker News' Aaron Hope explains the colorway adds a fresh new take to the iconic line, "This Saturday’s release sticks out like a sore thumb in that the fresh 'Gamma Blue' colorway that has no true connection to the visual anatomy of the Jordan Brand beast."

Now let's get a look at these things.

What's more, you can drape yourself in the colorway with inspired gear the apparel company is making available. Here is a look via a tweet

Sole Collector has you covered with some vivid images:

And Sole Awesome gives you an idea of what these things might look like in your closet:

Beautiful, stunning and well worth your consideration, but we have to caution that you stay careful out there as you hop in the car and head out with the masses already eager to get a pair.

WBNS-10TV reports that last weekend shoppers literally broke a door off its hinge trying to get a voucher for a pair of Air Jordans.

Back in December of 2011, Deadspin had a rather mind-boggling breakdown of all the misery the Air Jordan XI caused that year.

So remember, these things are hot, but they will be back with new colors yet again the same time next year. No need to bust through doors.
