Geno Smith: Week 16 Fantasy Outlook

RotoWireContributor December 18, 2013

Smith predictably regressed in Carolina last week, and though this week's matchup against Cleveland isn't quite as tough, the Browns still have a strong pass defense led by star corner Joe Haden. There are promising signs for Smith, who's at least been better over the last two weeks, but if you're starting him in the fantasy finals, you're in trouble.
Geno's rushed for 94 yards over the last two weeks and has thrown a touchdown in consecutive contests after going five straight without successfully doing so. The Jets' integration of the running element into Geno's game has opened things up a little, but his lack of playmaking receivers and the Jets' general offensive malaise offer little promise for this week.
