Jabrill Peppers, a 5-star athlete from Paramus, N.J., is one of the top football recruits in the country and has signed on to play at Michigan in the fall.
While many know Peppers for his extraordinary play on the high school field, his life story is even more remarkable. At the age of 11, Peppers' father was sent to prison on gun charges. Just three years later, his brother lost his life to gun violence.
Many individuals would have totally crumbled against such adversity, let alone an innocent child. However, Peppers is not the norm. He is an amazing football player, and an even more exceptional human being, whose life story is beyond moving.
Bleacher Report sat down with Peppers as he discussed his past and how it has shaped him to become who he is today.
