Andre Iguodala Misses What Could Have Been the Greatest Dunk Ever

Ken Chin@@thekenchinSocial Media StaffDecember 18, 2013

Just imagine if Andre Iguodala finished this play. Oakland's Oracle Arena, known as one of the loudest venues in the NBA, would have erupted.

This has to be one of the greatest missed dunks in NBA history. In the process of faking a behind-the-back pass at the top of the key, Iggy goes between his legs and then attacks the rim for the throwdown. However, the Pelicans' Jason Smith gets a finger on the ball and saves himself from becoming the victim of an Iguodala slam.

Kent Bazemore and the rest of the Warriors bench saw the play develop, and Bazemore ran halfway down the baseline in a preemptive celebration.

Iguodala's missed dunk luckily didn't hurt the Warriors, as they cruised to a 104-93 victory.

Thanks to Sean Highkin of For the Win for the find.
