Alex Smith: Week 16 Fantasy Outlook

RotoWireContributor December 18, 2013

Smith will lead the Chiefs into a Week 16 matchup with the Colts this week. He is looking to build on a performance that saw him complete 17-of-20 passes for 287 yards and five touchdowns in a 56-31 win over the Raiders.
Smith found Jamaal Charles for four of those scores, and he enjoyed watching short passes turn into substantial gains thanks to the explosive Charles. The quarterback is currently on a tear, having thrown 14 touchdowns against two interceptions in his last five games. Given his remarkable play of late, he serves as a possible QB1 this week.
