Zach Ertz: Week 16 Fantasy Outlook

Bleacher Report AdministratorSenior Analyst IIDecember 17, 2013

Ertz is making a case more for his 2014 draft position more so than usage in the fantasy playoffs in 2013, but the progress is worth noting nevertheless. The rookie tight end has scored three touchdowns in the last two games, and has seen 15 targets in the two games not played in a foot of snow.
Ertz did not register a catch in the snow on December 8th against Detroit, but has become increasingly visible in the passing game otherwise. He's outproduced fellow tight end Brent Celek recently, and is making a strong case as a tight end sleeper next season. However, we're still not ready to deem him a viable fantasy option this season, due to the possibility that he could still put up a dud of a performance.
