Kirk Cousins took the field as the Washington Redskins starting quarterback following Mike Shanahan's decision to shut down Robert Griffin III for the remainder of the season. Cousins played well, throwing for almost 400 yards and three touchdowns against the Atlanta Falcons, but the Redskins (3-11) ultimately lost 27-26.
