Capitals Fan Gets Hit in the Head with a Puck, Delays Hospital Trip to See Win

Hockey fans are proving to be just as tough as the players they follow.

Case in point: Washington Capitals fan Tricia Drummond.

Drummond had to receive stitches after being hit in the head by a puck during the third period of Washington's game against the Philadelphia Flyers on Sunday.

But she didn't let the injury keep her down for long. She says she was back in time to see the Caps win in a shootout.

She shared a photo of her wound after the game and said it was all worth it.
