If you ask me, sports fans are the most fortunate people in the world. They get to experience jaw-dropping skill, unbelievable drama and the most unexpected moments of excellence whenever they attend or tune into their favorite sporting event.

While there are often great moments in the sporting world, few events earn the honor of being remembered for generations to come. Even 20 or 30 years from now, people will reminisce about the greatest finish to a golf tournament they have ever witnessed, or the most devastating dunk a basketball player ever managed. These moments go above and beyond routine sports excellence. They are poetry in motion brought to us by athletic artists.
