McGloin completed 18-of-36 passes for 297 yards with two touchdowns, four interceptions and one lost fumble in Sunday’s 56-31 loss to Kansas City. He was also reestablished after the game as starting quarterback for Week 16 again at San Diego.
McGloin was intercepted four times by the Kansas City defense, which forced seven combined turnovers. The pattern of high-turnover, inefficient play makes him an unreliable option, even as a QB2.
