If you are in the playoffs in your fantasy football league and started EJ Manuel and/or Robert Woods, pat yourself on the back.
The Buffalo tandem combined for a second-quarter touchdown pass in Jacksonville as well as another 20-yard hookup. Manuel also ran for a touchdown and has been dangerous with his legs all game. He finished with 193 yards in the air, 37 yards on the ground and three total touchdowns.
As Jeff Russo, the Sports Director at WKBW-TV Buffalo, points out, Manuel recovered nicely from a slow start:
After starting 0-4 with an interception EJ Manuel has completed 8 of his last 9 passes for 113 yards and a TD. #Bills— Jeff Russo (@JeffRussoWKBW) December 15, 2013
As for Woods, he finished with 82 yards receiving and one touchdown.
Buffalo plays a solid but not spectacular Miami Dolphins secondary in Week 16 (13th in the league in opposing passing yards), so perhaps Manuel and Woods can use this momentum going forward.
