The fantasy football playoffs are upon us, and it would have been hard to imagine before play kicked off in Week 15 that Greg Jennings and Matt Cassel would be altering league championships.

The Vikings’ tandem torched Philadelphia’s secondary for a 57-yard touchdown early in the first quarter and tallied 163 yards together through the air. Jennings was targeted by Cassel more than any other receiver and capitalized on the opportunities.

Cassel, meanwhile, was 26-of-35 for 382 yards yards and two touchdowns.

NFL.com’s Daniel Jeremiah points out this was Jennings’ first big game of the year:

Despite the performance, it will be hard to trust Cassel and Jennings going forward. The Vikings play at Cincinnati in Week 16 against a top-10 defense in terms of passing yards allowed. However, with no Adrian Peterson, Minnesota is leaning on the passing game more frequently.

These are nice performances for both players, but chances are neither is in most fantasy lineups.
