Arizona 72, Michigan 70 - Final Score
Michigan got outstanding performances from Glenn Robinson III and Caris LeVert, but it was not enough to take down No. 1 Arizona at the Crisler Center on Saturday afternoon. The duo combined for 35 points, which enabled the Wolverines to lead for almost the entire contest before eventually falling 72-70.
Down the stretch, though, the Wildcats began to take over on the interior. Michigan allowed Arizona to grab 17 offensive rebounds, which led to numerous opportunities for second-chance points.
Over the course of the final two minutes, the lead changed hands five times. The Wildcats sealed the game at the charity stripe and took the lead for good on a pair of freebies by Nick Johnson with 14 seconds remaining in regulation.
Arizona's trio of big men, Aaron Gordon, Brandon Ashley and Kaleb Tarczewski, all scored at least 14 points and combined for 19 rebounds.
Nik Stauskas scored 14 points and Spike Albrecht chipped in 10 for the Wolverines.
