New York Jets vs. Carolina Panthers: Live Score, Highlights and Analysis

Ryan Alfieri@Ryan_AlfieriCorrespondent IIIDecember 15, 2013

Although it was a close game, the Panthers were able to make a few big plays in the fourth quarter to cruise to their 10th win of the season, continuing their march to divisional supremacy.

Meanwhile, the Jets fall to 6-8 with their playoff hopes all but lost. Geno Smith made a few nice throws and plays with his feet, but a pick-six sealed the Jets' fate late in the game. Soon, the Jets will need to decide if Geno Smith is their quarterback of the future, and performances like these only muddy the picture.

With their playoff hopes just about shattered, the Jets will be playing for their jobs for the rest of the season, and so will their head coach.

Final:

Jets 20, Panthers 30
