WWE Releases Mr. Kennedy: Why?

BenContributor IMay 30, 2009

I have just seen the news that the WWE have released Mr. Kennedy. I see this as sad news for fans and bad for the WWE. I'm sure many people are going to write about this, but here's what I have to say.

If I am correct WWE doesn't pay full salary to wrestlers when they are injured. I know many will say that you cannot keep a wrestler who is injured all the time.

But when they are as talented as him I think they should always hold out and hope he can stay fit.

Maybe the injury wasn't the reason, I hear news of a backstage fall out between Orton and Kennedy or maybe he used illegal substances to try and stay fit. We will probably never know.

I think this is a big loss to the WWE, as he has the ability to main-event many PPVs to come. He was one of my favourite wrestlers, especially on the mic. He is very comfortable on the microphone and has the ability to make you love him or hate him.

Maybe TNA will give him a call, if he could prove himself there then surely WWE would give him another chance later on like Christian had.

He has always stated he has a dream of headlining Wrestlemania and winning the championship. I hope he still has a chance to do this.

Im sure Kennedy is very disappointed by the news and will work hard to fight back. I would love to see him make a return to the WWE one day. And as the WWE say, I wish him well in his future endeavours.
