With six spots in the final 32 still up for grabs, group play at the 2013 Europa League came to a wild finish on Thursday.

Swansea, for example, entered Thursday with their advancement on the line. The Swans lost a 1-0 away match against St. Gallen. Luck was on their side, however, as Kuban Krasnodar needed a victory to unseat the Swans but could only earn 1-1 draw at Valencia.

As a result, Swansea takes second in Group A and is on to the knockout stage. Swansea boss Michael Laudrup was just happy to be advance.

"Being through is the most important thing," Laudrup said via the Press Association. "In a couple of weeks we won't think about how we got there, we will just know we are in the last 32."

Check out which teams will join them in the full table below, and then I'll highlight some of Thursday's more pivotal action.

In Group B play, PSV Eindhoven suffered a shocking loss at home to Chornomorets Odesa, 1-0. Those two sides were locked in second place at seven points entering the day.

Franck Djadjedje provided the match's only goal in the 59th minute to deflate the home crowd. With that score holding up, it is the Chornomorets that will advance to the final 32 and not former European champions PSV.

Group D saw a big turnaround in standings.

NK Maribor entered the day in the basement of the standings. With goals from Dejan Mezga and Zeljko Filipovic, Maribor were able to battle back from an early 1-0 deficit against Wigan Athletic.

With FC Rubin Kazan trouncing Zulte-Waregem in Group D's other match, this paved the way for Maribor to move from the bottom of the standings to the knockout stage.

In Group G play, FC Dynamo Kyiv beat SK Rapid Wien 3-1. With Kyiv entering the day already in second and Wien chasing them in third, that result was more than enough to push them through.

Over in Group F action, Maccabi Tel-Aviv FC took down FC Girondins de Bordeaux 1-0. This secured their standing in second in the group and ensures they are through to the next stage.

FC Slovan Liberec entered the day tied with SC Freiburg, but they were trailing by a goal in differential for second in Group H. Liberec beat Estoril 2-1 as front-running Sevilla FC took down FreiburgSo, it is Liberec that advance.

We've already had a wild run of play at the Europa League, and we're just getting started.
