Isotopes 5 Red Hawks 5
It's final the Isotopes lose to the Red Hawks 6 to 5 in the first of four games in Oklahoma. Mitch Jones was pulled for a pinch runner sounded like he might have hurt his foot. The Isotopes will play a double header tomorrow to make up for the game that was rained out on May 5. The Isotopes are one game under .500 at 23 and 24 but are still in first place in the PCL American South. James McDonald started and went 4.2 innings. He threw 99 pitches 50 of them for strikes.

Dodger Isotope News
A J Ellis
The Dodgers called up catcher A J Ellis from Triple A Albuquerque. I thought somthing was going on when A J was a late scratch for last nights Isotopes game. Ellis will take the place of Dodgers reliever Will Ohman, who was placed on the DL with a sore left shoulder. Dodgers.com is reporting that Ellis expected to stay only until Hiroki Kuroda is activated off the disabled list, which could be as soon as next week. Good luck A J. We will be cheering for you from Albuquerque. I have not yet found out who will share the catching duties with Danny Ardoin in Albuquerque.
Dylan Hernandez of the L A Times is reporting that Hiroki Kuroda will start on Monday against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Has extended his hitting streak to sixteen games tonight. Jason had hit in eleven game before being placed on the DL, then he returned from the DL and has hit safely in six games. The Isotopes are in Oklahoma City playing the Red Hawks the Triple A affiliate of the Texas Rangers.
Jensen was took the spot of A J Ellis who was called up by the Dodgers. You might remember Kenley Jansen from the World Baseball Classic. Jansen played for the Netherlands in the Classic.
