Alabama kicker Cade Foster has been the target of a great deal of criticism after missing three field goals in the Crimson Tide's dramatic 34-28 loss in the Iron Bowl versus Auburn.

We've seen teammates stick up for him, and now he has received a letter from former United States President George W. Bush.

Bush writes:

Dear Cade (#43),

Life has its setbacks. I know! However you will be a stronger human with time. I wish you all the best—Sincerely—another 43 George Bush

Foster wrote on Instagram, "framing this," so he's clearly very appreciative of the gesture.

Hat tip to College Spun for the find.
