Manuel had a brutal game last week against Tampa Bay, going 18-for-33 with 184 yards and four interceptions, while getting sacked seven times. It does get easier this week against the Jaguars, but the Bills have said they'll scale things back with Manuel for the rest of the year -- whatever that means.
It seems the Bills may deploy a more run-heavy approach against Jacksonville, which is good for Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller, but bad for Manuel. He'd only thrown four picks all year (when healthy) before last week, so it seems likely the disaster in Tampa was an aberration.
