Arsenal sits atop the English Premier League table but comes into its match with Manchester City this weekend off a rather disappointing home draw against Everton.

As the Gunners hit the EPL road for Manchester, they are rare underdogs in spite of their position atop the league.

Arsenal is five points clear of both Chelsea and Liverpool. Manchester City is in fourth place and it is six points behind the Gunners.

City also come in off a draw in their last match, and a main reason that oddsmakers have installed them as betting favorites against Arsenal is their undefeated mark at home.

The City offense also seems to fire better on its home pitch as the unit has scored at least three goals in all but one league match. In their last three home matches, they have blitzed their opponents with 16 goals.

As of Tuesday, EPL oddsmakers had Manchester City at -120, with Arsenal at +300 and a draw line at +275.

This match pits Man City's league-leading offense against Arsenal's league-leading defense.

Last season at Manchester City, these teams fought to a 1-1 result.

Sergio Aguero ranks second in the EPL in goals, and he leads a potent City offense that is loaded with six players with at least three goals. The Gunners really need to worry about Aguero and Yaya Toure, who are both in fine form.

Arsenal’s defense has been stellar as of late, as the lone goal they gave up against Everton snapped a three-match streak of clean sheets.

Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud have combined for 14 goals this season with Mesut Ozil, who scored in the Everton match, chipping in with four.

Arsenal, dominated in time of possession against Everton, must play a different match if it hopes to pay off for fans and bettors.

City boast a strong midfield and, while their defense has not looked great at home in their last two Champions League matches (they conceded two goals in each), they have not allowed a goal at home in EPL play since the beginning of October.

Prediction: 2-1 Manchester City
