After dealing with an ankle injury during the week, Floyd saw just five targets which he turned into two catches for 26 yards against the Rams on Sunday. It was his lowest yardage output since Week 2 and the second time in three games that he's failed to find the end zone.
Floyd's down game probably shouldn't have been completely unexpected despite the relatively soft match-up with the Rams' secondary, as he spent the whole week limited in practice with the ankle issue. Not to mention, his recent production has put defensive coordinators on notice that he is someone who needs to be specifically targeted when attempting to stifle Arizona's passing attack. Unfortunately, things don't look too promising moving forward as the Cardinals face three of the toughest pass defenses in the league over the final three weeks of the season.
