The Philadelphia Eagles recently hosted defensive tackle Dewayne Robertson of the New York Jets.

At 6-foot-1, 317 pounds, Robertson may be able to help the team. If he is signed, he is an upgrade compared to DT Monte Reagor and DT LaJuan Ramsey.

He will help our rotation and is a great compliment to DTs Mike Patterson and Broderick Bunkley.

Nothing is set in stone and no contract is being worked out yet, but the last few times Eagles had a meeting this offseason, they brought them in to play for Philadelphia. With the additions of CB Asante Samuel, DE Chris Clemons, and LB Rocky Boiman, the Eagles’ defense should be one of the best.

Philadelphia should force more turnovers and make more plays with the new help. The Releasing of DE Jevon Kearse and OLB Takeo Spikes may matter, but may not.

No one knows, but people will find out next season.
