Robert Griffin: Recapping Griffin's Week 14 Fantasy Performance

RotoWireContributor December 9, 2013

The Redskins are in shambles, and it starts at the top with quarterback Robert Griffin. RGIII completed just 12-of-26 passes for 164 yards, one touchdown and one interception against the Chiefs. He also rushed four times for 29 yards in the 45-10 blowout loss.
The Chiefs are an excellent defensive team, and Griffin couldn't get much going as a result. RG3 was sacked five times and eventually replaced late in the game by backup Kirk Cousins due to the lopsided score. The only saving grace for Griffin fantasy owners still in the hunt is that the Redskins finish the season with games against poor defenses in Atlanta, Dallas and New York. Still, it's tough to recommend Griffin, as the team appears to be falling apart at the seams.
