Seahawks Fans Fly 'Go Hawks' Banner Over Candlestick Park

Before Sunday's Seattle Seahawks-San Francisco 49ers showdown, a plane flew over Candlestick Park with a "Go Hawks" banner.

Earlier in the week, Fox Sports' Andy Nesbitt wrote about the plan that fans came up with to fund the banner. A group of 100 contributors worked together to come up with more than $1,800 to have the plane fly over the stadium with the banner for 15 minutes.

Seahawks fans did an excellent job of messing with their rival. A win over the 49ers would wrap up the NFC West for the Seahawks.

Thanks to @xmasape for the find.
