Months of waiting and patience finally paid off for fans of the Los Angeles Lakers, as Kobe Bryant made his much-anticipated debut when the Lakers welcomed the Toronto Raptors into Staples Center Sunday night.
Kobe struggled to nine points on 2-of-9 shooting, eight rebounds, four assists and eight turnovers in 28 minutes of action. Amir Johnson, meanwhile, scored a career-high 32 points to help lead the Raptors to the 106-94 victory on the road.
Toronto improved to 7-12 on the season, while Los Angeles dropped to 10-10.
