Michigan State 34, Ohio State 24 — Final

The No. 10 Michigan State Spartans did what no team in 24 tries was able to when they defeated the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes 34-24 to capture the Big Ten title.

Connor Cook and Spartans (12-1, 9-0) shredded Ohio State's defense with 304 passing yards and three touchdowns in the victory. The Buckeyes (12-1, 8-1) had trouble moving the ball, particularly in the first and fourth quarters, which led to their first defeat under Urban Meyer.

The victory will send Michigan State to its first Rose Bowl since 1988. The loss knocks Ohio State out of the national title game, but the Buckeyes still remain a very likely candidate for a BCS bowl.
