Cold Weather Leads to Extremely Small Crowd at UCF-SMU Game

Most of the nation has been affected by a huge winter storm this week, and the Central Florida-Southern Methodist game was no different.

The scoreboard showed logs in a fireplace, via Paul Tenorio of the Orlando Sentinel:

The temperature in Dallas at the start of the game was 25 degrees, via weather.com.

As Bill Nichols of The Dallas Morning News wrote, fans received free admission to the game because of the weather conditions.

There is a lot of intrigue in this game. UCF is headed to a BCS bowl, and SMU needs a win in order to be eligible for a bowl game.
